- What is your actual position/what company are you working for?
- I work as Stadium Operations Manager and Head of Euro 2012 preparations department in Metalist FC
- What have you been doing in January/February?
- Beginning of January we have had a winter break in the championship and it is very important to spend these days with use. We have had to update and review our operational and emergency plans, finish all construction works and be prepare two games which will be in February. Also Euro 2012 preparations is another daily activity. We make this job together with UEFA and local authorities. Besides this we hold a lot of small events like conferences, banquets, different social programs.
- What does your job involve?
- My job includes both stadium normal operations and preparation to Euro 2012 stadium operations.
- When did you attend EVMI?
- I attended EVMI in summer and autumn 2011.
- What did you learn?
- With EVMI I've got a basement academic knowledge on stadium management and stadium strategic development. Also I've got acquainted with new interesting people and use these contacts in my professional activity.
- Do you recommend SMSS?
- I recommend SMSS first of all to people who work in the area of stadium operations, mass event organisation and providing of services on venues. Even if you work in this area for a long time and have big experience - with SMSS you will learn something new and interesting for you.
- What do you want to do next?
- I want to hold games of Euro 2012 on Metalist Stadium on the highest level and leave good memories about this tournament at all spectators who will visit our stadium.
